Exam Period Restricted Access: Access to the Law Library is restricted to Law School students, faculty and staff through Sunday, May 4th. Those without proper identification will be asked to leave.

Washington University Law students, faculty, and staff have 24/7 swipe card access to the library.

The Law Library is open to non-law students and members of the general public:
Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(unless otherwise noted due to planned/unplanned closures (e.g. scheduled exam periods)).

The Circulation Desk is open and staffed:
Monday – Thursday:  8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday:  Noon to 4 p.m.

The Library supports the law school’s legal and interdisciplinary scholarship and the curricular needs of its faculty and students.  It is committed to educating and empowering students, scholars, and the university community by providing access to legal information, ideas, and resources.

    • Search MOBIUS: for books from a consortium of Missouri Libraries
      The MOBIUS catalog will become search-only on April 18. Materials borrowed from MOBIUS will be due on May 17 and cannot be renewed. Please utilize Interlibrary Loan instead.
