The curriculum provides students with an overview of tax law, including the procedural and technical aspects as well as the tools they need to solve complex tax problems and adapt to ever-changing legislation.

Tax law is the legal field that relates to the assessment, payment, and nonpayment of taxes imposed by governmental authorities at the local, state, and national levels. Tax attorneys must understand and implement a wide variety of legal concepts because a tax can be connected to many types of activities.

The online LLM in Taxation program is designed for law professionals and law school graduates who want to specialize in tax law. The curriculum prepares graduates to apply fundamental tax law concepts to a variety of real-world scenarios. In as few as 12 months, our faculty members, who are expert tax law practitioners, will equip you with the tools you need to solve intricate tax issues and adapt to evolving tax legislation.

The online LLM in Taxation program is a 24-credit program and can be completed in as little as a year.

Students in the online MLS in Taxation program will complete one required course and then select from classes to fulfill 21 credits of tax electives.
