Peter Kwon
Low Income Taxpayer Clinic Staff Attorney Fellow
Peter Kwon is a staff attorney fellow in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, which represents low-income clients in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
Prior to joining the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, Peter was an attorney at an accounting and tax law firm in Illinois. While there, he resolved matters concerning foreign inheritance and foreign asset reporting, and investments in U.S. enterprises. Additionally, Peter worked on matters such as remote seller requirements, sales tax misappropriation, and various state and local tax matters.
Peter is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law with a specialization in Business and Transactional Law. He is currently pursuing an LLM in Taxation at WashULaw.
