Profile

Michael Peil is the Associate Dean for International Programs and the Executive Director for the Transnational Law Program. He also is on the Faculty Advisory Board of the law school’s Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute and coaches the law school’s Niagara Cup International Law Moot Court team. A Lecturer in Law, he has taught European Union Law and International Law and has taught at the law school’s Summer Institute for Global Justice at Utrecht University in The Netherlands. He also has lectured in international law in Armenia, under the aegis of the ABA’s Europe and Eurasia Program. Before joining the law school, Peil worked in Chicago, where he taught, practiced law and was the Executive Director of the International Law Students Association.
