Getting there: 
If you’re approaching the airport from Interstate 170 southbound, you’ll take exit 7B. If you’re traveling northbound on I-170, take exit 7C from the far left lane. You’ll be Westbound on I-70 for only about a quarter-mile before you take exit 238A, which will take you past, in order: Terminal 2,  Terminal 1.

If you’re coming from St. Charles or Interstate 270 from St. Louis County or Illinois, you’ll be approaching the airport Eastbound on I-70. Use exit 235C at Cypress Road.

Getting from the airport to St. Louis:
Take the I-70E exit toward St. Louis.  After 13.9 miles, take the Memorial Dr. exit (exit 250B) toward Downtown/Pine St.

Getting from the airport to the Law School:
Take the I-70E exit toward St. Louis.  Take I-170 south to the Forest Park Pkwy exit (#1E).  After approx. 2.5 miles, take a right onto Throop Drive.  To your left will be the Millbrook parking garage.  Park in any available yellow spot.  The Law School (Anheuser-Busch Hall) is to the right of the intersection of Throop Drive and Snow Way.

Airport Transportation

  1. Terminal Shuttles:
    Free shuttles run continuously between Terminals 1 and 2.  They pickup and drop off at Exit MT12 of Terminal 1 and Exit ET12 of Terminal 2.
  2. Bus Port:
    Arriving and departing of all bus transportation is located the entrance to the Intermediate Lot, south of Terminal 1.  Board “Terminal Shuttle” at Exit MT12 on the lower level of Terminal 1.

  3. MetroLink:
    • MetroLink is St. Louis’ light rail system.  The airport stops are located on the upper level of Terminal 1 at Exit MT1 and Terminal 2 through the parking garage on all levels.  Operating daily from 5 am until midnight with tickets priced at $4 for an adult one-way trip from the Airport, less for seniors and children under 12.  Children under 5 ride for free.
    • You can take the MetroLink from the airport directly to Washington University.  Take any train from the airport to the Forest Park station.  From the adjacent platform, transfer to a Shrewsbury/I-44 train and take it to the University City/Big Bend station.  After you leave the MetroLink station, walk east along Forest Park Pkwy (the University will be on your right) to Throop Drive.  Take a right on Throop Drive and the Law School (Anheuser-Busch Hall) is to the right of the intersection of Throop Drive and Snow Way.
  4. Area Hotel Courtesy Vehicles:
    • Several area hotels also offer shuttle services, so be sure to inquire.  From Terminal 1: Call toll free near Exits MT12, MT17, and MT18 (on the lower level, near baggage claim), board at Exit MT18.  From Terminal 2: Call toll free near the Exit ET12, board on the lower level at ET15.
  5. Van Services:
    • Provides shared van service to Downtown hotels.  Purchase tickets and board at: Terminal 1, Exit MT12 or Terminal 2, Exit ET12.  Tickets are usually $15 one-way, $25 round trip.  Advanced reservation limousine/van services are available for transportation to your destination in St. Louis and surrounding Missouri/Illinois locations.

    • You can find taxis waiting to meet nearly every flight at Lambert-St. Louis Airport.
      • Exit Terminal 1 at Exit MT14 to the Yellow Parking Garage Level.
      • Exit Terminal 2 at ET12 to the parking garage.
        • There is a $3 surcharge for all taxicabs leaving the airport. Exact fares will depend upon the final destination – but it usually costs $35 to go directly to the Law School.

From Downtown St. Louis and points East:
Take I-64/40 West to the Clayton Road exit (#34B).  At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Skinker Blvd.  After approx. 1.25 miles, turn left onto Forest Park Pkwy.  Proceed approx. ½ mile and turn left onto Throop Drive.  To your left will be the Millbrook parking garage.  Park in any available yellow spot.  The Law School (Anheuser-Busch Hall) is to the right of the intersection of Throop Drive and Snow Way.  You will need to pick up a Daily Parking Pass from the Admissions Office (Suite 303 of Anheuser-Busch Hall) to park in the Millbrook parking garage.

From the West or South via I-44E or I-55 North:
Take I-64/40 East to the McCausland exit (#33D).  Turn left off the exit ramp.  After 1.5 miles, turn left onto Forest Park Pkwy.  Proceed approx. ½ mile and turn left onto Throop Drive.  To your left will be the Millbrook parking garage.  Park in any available yellow spot.  The Law School (Anheuser-Busch Hall) is to the right of the intersection of Throop Drive and Snow Way.  You will need to pick up a Daily Parking Pass from the Admissions Office (Suite 303 of Anheuser-Busch Hall) to park in the Millbrook parking garage.

From Lambert International Airport (West):

  • Getting around the university:
    • The Law School is located in Anheuser-Busch Hall on the Danforth Campus of Washington University in St. Louis.  Click here for a Campus Map.
    • The Danforth Campus is the heart of Washington University – which also includes the Medical Campus in the Central West End, North Campus, and West Campus locations.  The Danforth Campus is very accessible, either on foot or by car.
  • Getting around the city:
    • It’s easy to get around St. Louis.  We suggest having access to a car during your visit, but if you don’t here are several transportation options.
    • Public Transportation:
