Student Support Policy

Student Support includes the requests, provision, and operation of all AV/Multimedia equipment inside or outside of the classroom for individual and group assignments.  Equipment will not be loaned for personal use, or non-law school related activity.  (An equipment rental fee schedule can be obtained for non-law related activities).

Student support must be requested in the following manner.

  1. All requests for equipment support may be placed directly with AV/Multimedia personnel.  This includes all use of equipment inside or outside of the classroom.  All requests will be subject to verification with the faculty member teaching the class in which applicable equipment is to be utilized.

  2. Please supply the following information when making the request:

-Date and time of requested service.

-Location(s) for requested service.

-Type of service and equipment requested.

-Your name and e-mail or telephone number for contact.

  1. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the actual usage of said service and equipment.  The AV/Multimedia department reserves the right to refuse any request which does not abide the 48 hour advance notice rule.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION SUPPORT includes the request, provision, and operation of all AV/Multimedia equipment inside or outside the classroom for WU School of Law student organizations ONLY.  Equipment will not be loaned for personal use, or non-law school related activity.  (An equipment rental fee schedule can be obtained for non-law school related activities).

Student organization support may be requested in the following manner.

  1. All requests for service and/or equipment support may be placed directly with AV/Multimedia personnel by a confirmed student representative of the student organization, or channeled through a faculty member/sponsor.  This includes all use of AV equipment inside or outside of the classroom.

  2. Proper procedure entails contacting AV personnel in person, by phone or e-mail.  The AV general request number is 935-7667.

    Primary email contact is AV@wulaw.wustl.edu.
Email is preferred over telephone requests as a written record is available to both parties.  If the request is submitted by phone, it is strongly suggested that an email request is also submitted.
** All requests will receive a response.  If no response by the requesting party is received, the request was not received by AV personnel.  Please resubmit your request to ensure it has been received.

  3. Please supply the same information as described in (2) of the student support section above.

  4. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the actual usage of said service and equipment.  The AV Department reserves the right to refuse any request which does not abide the 48 hour advance notice rule.
(This policy is enforced solely to ensure proper use of Law School AV/Multimedia equipment and property as well as allocating adequate personnel to the task.  Insufficient notice results in scheduling conflicts of said personnel and equipment).
