
Steven J. Alagna
Lecturer in Law
Professor Steve Alagna teaches Legal Practice I and II. These first-year courses cover legal analysis and writing, as well as many of the professional skills necessary for excelling in legal workplaces.
Prof. Alagna is a practicing associate with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, LLP. His practice focuses on class and complex litigation and appeals. He has argued appeals before state and federal appellate courts and co-authored briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court. Prof. Alagna is also a legal-writing evaluator for the St. Louis office’s recruiting committee.
Prof. Alagna is a volunteer assistant coach for Washington University’s National Moot Court Team, where he has coached students to regional and national championships.
