
Kenneth Miller
Environmental Scientist, Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic; Lecturer in Law
Kenneth J. Miller, P.G., is a Lecturer in Law and Environmental Scientist with the law school’s Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic. A licensed professional geologist in the State of Illinois, he provides technical expertise on environmental cases, supervises student consultants from other schools at the university, and carries out various administrative duties for the clinic. Before joining the law school, Miller was Senior Hydrogeologist at Rapps Engineering & Applied Science in Springfield, Illinois. During his twelve years as a consultant with Rapps he performed complex subsurface investigations for a wide variety of projects, delineated wellhead protection areas to protect community water supplies, designed and implemented groundwater monitoring programs, performed landfill construction quality assurance inspections and testing, and provided solid waste clients with permitting and regulatory compliance services.
