Jessica Strauser

Jessica Strauser is the Nimick Forbesway Foundation Fellow in the Immigration Law Clinic. Immediately before joining the law school, Jessie was a Staff Attorney at the disAbility Law Center of Virginia (dLCV) where she represented individuals with disabilities in legal and administrative proceedings, conducted investigations of abuse and neglect, and assisted with systemic disability rights reform efforts. Prior to working for dLCV, Jessie was a law clerk for the Chesterfield Circuit Court in Chesterfield, Virginia. Jessie is a graduate of William & Mary Law School, where she received several awards for her commitment to public service and contributions to the law school’s clinics. As a law student, Jessie represented clients in numerous clinics, including the Veterans Benefits Clinic, the Special Education Advocacy Clinic, the Domestic Violence Clinic, and the Immigration Law Clinic.
