Geetha Sant

Adjunct Faculty

Geetha Sant has over 30 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on corporate governance and compliance; employment management; executive compensation programs; and a wide variety of corporate transactional matters, including intellectual property licensure. Most recently, Ms. Sant was a Senior Lecturer in Law at Washington University School of Law and served as the Director of the law school’s Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property. Prior to joining the law school, Ms. Sant was in private practice, where she provided legal services to clients of varying sizes — from entrepreneurial startups to well-established Fortune 50 companies and national nonprofit organizations. Ms. Sant is a frequent lecturer on topics related to board governance, business management, startup strategies, and professional development. She is an active volunteer and has served as chair and in various other capacities on the boards of many educational, arts and human services nonprofits. Ms. Sant received her A.B. from Duke University and her J.D. from Washington University School of Law.
