Denise Field

Professor of Practice Emerita

Denise Field is Assistant Director of Legal Practice and Lecturer in Law. She specializes in legal practice and advocacy and has presented at regional and national conferences on topics related to teaching legal practice. She is a member of the D.C. Bar, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the American Bar Association. Before joining the faculty, she was a trial attorney with the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, Deputy Director of Litigation for the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, and General Counsel of the American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri.
