Non-WashU Law Students can take classes at WashU Law in two instances:

  1. Current Washington University graduate/professional and upper-level undergraduate students are eligible to apply to take WashU Law courses if the class has space and with permission from the law school faculty member teaching the course and the student’s advisor. Please use the linked form.
  2. SLU Law and WashU Law have an agreement that allows students to take one course at the other school during the fall, intersession, or spring semesters without charge. This agreement applies to students enrolled in the JD program who have completed their first 30 hours of coursework, and it extends to upper-level courses, including clinics and upper-level writing seminars. The course taken at the non-home school must not be offered by the home school during the academic year in which the student takes the course. Please use the linked form.
