Please indicate your course selections below. If you are planning to apply to the JD program, please read the document called “Information for Foreign LL.M. Students Applying to the J.D. Program” (found at  Also, note specific course requirements to be eligible to sit for the NY Bar exam - those are found on their website at (scroll to section V.B.). Because of the two required fall semester courses: 1. Introduction to U.S. Law & Methods I  (3 units), and 2. Fundamentals of US Civil Procedure and Contracts (3 units), you should need to select only 2 or 3 courses and 1 or 2 alternate courses. [If you have already completed an LL.M. at another U.S. Law School, you are not required to take either of these courses, but can choose to take them if you would like. If you do not wish to take them, please type in an "X" in the Rank column.] LL.M. students are not eligible to take a "Seminar" in the Fall semester, unless they have already completed an LL.M. from another U.S. Law School or attended Law School in an English-speaking country.
