The law school rarely closes due to severe weather. In the unlikely event of a complete shut-down, cancellation information would be posted on the University’s home page (http://wustl.edu/) and broadcast on local network TV (Channels 2, 4, and 5) and radio stations (including KMOX, AM1120). This would also be included on the Hotline recording and as a School Announcement in MyLaw.
Occasionally, a single class or a scheduled event may be cancelled by a professor or event organizer because of bad weather. In case of severe weather, students should call the Severe Weather Hotline - Weekdays: Dial 935-6400, the person answering the phone will be able to answer questions about canceled classes. Evenings and Weekends: Dial 935-6400 then press “7” and “3,” and listen to the greeting for notice of any canceled classes or events. Also, you can view School Announcements in MyLaw.
If you do not hear or see anything about classes canceled due to the weather, you should assume that your class(es) have not been cancelled. Also, be sure to check your email, as professors often use email to communicate cancellations and special instructions to their students.
