This course is a study of the law relative to the nature, creation, operation, and dissolution of agency relationships, the various types of partnerships, and the limited liability company. The course will also examine the relative advantages and disadvantages of the various forms of business organizations. Specific topics covered include proprietorship, nonprofit associations, general and limited partnerships, fiduciary relationships, and vicarious liability. The grade will be based on a final examination.
