  • Products Liability (Prof. Ellis) – is a 3 credit hour course (not a 2 credit hour course)
  • Legal Profession (Prof. Gross) – Add to end of course description:  “This course is part of the ethics curriculum; it is considered a “survey” ethics course. Students may not take more than one “survey” course for credit toward their degree.”
  • IP Perspectives on Property Law Seminar – the correct course number is W76-734S, sec. 01.
  • LRW, sections 3 & 4 – Prof. Jane Moul will be teaching Legal Writing (not Prof. Knapp, as was incorrectly stated in the first version of the 1st year schedule)

 

SPRING 2004  

Added:  

  • Pretrial, W74-658N  - two new sections added by Prof. Kim:  Section 5 will meet on MON 5:00-8:00 and will be taught by Adjunct Professor Charles Jellinek, and Section 6 will meet on TUE 5:00-8:00 and will be taught by Adjunct Professor Honorable Sandra Hemphill.

  • Foundations of European Community Law (Prof. Sadat) - 2 credits  - Students who wish to earn an additional credit in tandem with this course may apply to register for a Supervised Research for 1 credits, which will involve writing a paper in addition to the other course requirements.  Email Colleen Erker at erker@wulaw.wustl.edu to see if there are still openings for this additional credit option.

  • IP  Management and Evaluation of Intellectual Property Assets - MON TUE THU 12:00-1:00 PM - Course description is now available.   • Business Acquisitions (MON TUE 12:00-1:30 PM) – was initially inadvertently left off the Spring 2004 grid, but was correctly listed in the Spring 2004 General Upper-level Courses course description section.
  • Corporate/Commercial Law Firms: Strategic Trends & Their Impact (Profs. Lent & Samuelson) was incorrectly listed as a Spring 2004 course in the July 24, 2003, version of the course directory.  This course is being taught in the Fall 2003 semester only.
  • Lawyers & Justice: Ethics in Public Lawyering - see course description updated on 10/28/03 - http://law.wustl.edu/Registrar/Coursedir/2003-2004/upperlevel_spring_courses.html .  Note also the new days/times - WED THU 1:00-2:30 (instead of WED THU FRI 1-2).
  • Construction Law Practice & Drafting - will meet on MON 6:30-8:30 (instead of 6:00-8:00) - this will take the course out of conflict with Trial Practice & Procedure and Cyberspace Law.
  • IP International Legal Process - has been added to the Spring 2004 list of IP related curriculum courses.
  • IP Antitrust (Prof. Ellis) - meets on MON TUE THU 10:00-11:00 (not 11:00-12:00, as was listed in the course directory description and in WebSTAC).  It has always been listed correctly in the Spring 2004 Upper-level Schedule (the grid), in the course description on the web, and in this summary of course changes (see under "Added" courses - it was added after the publication of the initial course directory in March).
