To meet the ethics requirement
for graduation, students must take one course from the ethics
curriculum. Students are, however, permitted to take more than one
ethics course except that they cannot take more than one that are
defined as survey courses ( ).
Legal Profession, Lawyers and Ethics in Film & Law (formerly Legal
Ethics in Film), Litigation Ethics, Practical Ethics for Civil
Litigation, and Lawyers & Justice: Ethics of Public Lawyering are
defined as survey courses, giving students a broad overview of ethics
issues as they relate to lawyering. The other courses are focused on
more specific areas of law and are not defined as survey courses.
