Greenfield Named Best Law Professor

Professor Michael Greenfield was selected the Best Law Professor in the Missouri Lawyers Media's 2009 Readers’ Poll. Greenfield, the George Alexander Madill Professor of Contracts & Commercial Law, also was featured in an issue of Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and he will be honored at a special event on November 6. Additionally, Washington University Law was named the Best Law School, and several alumni and adjunct professors received recognitions in the poll.

Greenfield, who joined the law faculty in 1969, shares his thoughts on teaching in the fall 2009 Washington University Law Magazine.

Alumni who took top honors and who also will be celebrated at the November 6 event, include: Judge Richard Teitelman, JD ’73, who was named Best Supreme Court Judge, and Trial Team Coach, Judge David Mason, JD ’83, who was Best Circuit Judge (Eastern Missouri). Other alumni who received top votes include: Terry Crouppen, JD '71, Brown & Crouppen; Alan Freed, JD '83, Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal; Craig Rosenthal, JD '97, Suddenlink Communications; and Mary Reichert, LLM '81, Bryan Cave LLP. Additionally, current adjunct professors who will be feted, include: Freed; Mason;Bevy Beimdiek; Michael Geigerman, US A&M; and Amy Collignon Gunn, The Simon Law Firm.
