Admissions and Scholarships

Candidates for the LL.M. degree must have graduated from an accredited U.S. law school. In some situations, the Tax LL.M. Admissions Committee may consider students who have an undergraduate law degree or its equivalent from a foreign institution of higher learning. The Admissions Committee considers the strength of candidates' previous law school record and the candidates' tax course work in particular. For lawyers in practice, the Admissions Committee also considers work experience.

PLEASE NOTE:  Your application is not complete until you submit the following:

  1. Your academic transcripts in English
  2. Two recommendation letters
  3. Your TOEFL score if you are an International student

We welcome application materials filed through LSAC.   We cannot review your file until it is complete.

To be considered for admission into the program, interested candidates must submit an application, application fees, official law school transcript with class rank, and verification of the LSAT scores. Need based and credit based loans, as well as a limited number of merit based scholarships, are available for full time students who meet the federal requirements.
