Directions to the Library

Washington University Law Library is located on the fourth floor of the Anheuser-Busch Hall, which is on the northwest side of the Washington University Hilltop campus between Forsyth Boulevard and Millbrook Boulevard. 

Metrolink 

There are two MetroLink stations near the campus:

  • University City Big Bend station located at 7000 Forest Park Parkway
  • Skinker station located at 260 North Skinker Blvd.

From the Airport

  • Board the train heading eastbound with “Shiloh-Scott” on the destination display. Take this train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station and exit.
  • Walk to the other side of the platform and wait for a westbound train with “Shrewsbury/I-44” on the destination display.  Take this train to the University City Big Bend station and exit.
  • Anheuser-Busch Hall is located east of the station. 

From Downtown St. Louis

  • Enter the MetroLink station and wait for a westbound train with “Shrewsbury/I-44” on the destination display.  Take this train to the University City Big Bend station and exit.
  • Anheuser-Busch Hall is located east of the station. 

Driving

Routes to Washington University School of Law

From Downtown St. Louis (East) to:

  • The Hilltop Campus and Law School — Take I-64/US40 west to the Clayton Road exit. At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Skinker Blvd. At third stoplight, turn left onto Forsyth. 
  • Proceed West on Forsyth approximately 1/2 mile to Wallace Drive.
  • Turn right onto Wallace Drive and proceed to the Forsyth/Danforth Parking Garage.  The charge for this parking is $1.00/hour, maximum of $5.00 for the day.
  • Anheuser-Busch Hall is located to the North and West of the Parking Garage (walk North across the soccer field, then take a left.  Anheuser Busch Hall will be several buildings down on your right).

From the West or South to:

  • The Hilltop Campus and Law School — Take I-64/US 40 east to the McCausland exit and turn left at the bottom of the ramp.
  • Follow McCausland/Skinker north for approximately 1 mile, through 5 stoplights. 
  • At 6th stoplight (Forsyth Blvd.), turn left and proceed approximately 1/2 mile to Wallace Drive.
  • Turn right onto Wallace Drive and proceed to the Forsyth/Danforth Parking Garage.  The charge for this parking is $1.00/hour, maximum of $5.00 for the day.
  • Anheuser-Busch Hall is located to the North and West of the Parking Garage (walk North across the soccer field, then take a left.  Anheuser Busch Hall will be several buildings down on your right).

From Lambert International Airport (West) to:

  • The Hilltop Campus and Law School — Exit the airport on I-70 east.
  • Turn south on I-170 (construction from Page Ave. to Delmar Ave.) and proceed to the Forest Park Parkway exit east. 
  • Take Forest Park Parkway to Big Bend and turn right. Take Big Bend to Forsyth and turn left for the Hilltop Campus (Law School).
  • Proceed East on on Forsyth approximately 1/2 mile to Wallace Drive.
  • Turn left onto Wallace Drive and proceed to the Forsyth/Danforth Parking Garage.  The charge for this parking is $1.00/hour, maximum of $5.00 for the day.
  • Anheuser-Busch Hall is located to the North and West of the Parking Garage (walk North across the soccer field, then take a left.  Anheuser Busch Hall will be several buildings down on your right).

Helpful Suggestions

  • Expect significant delays, especially during the morning and evening rush hours.
  • Do not park on area streets in violation of parking restrictions.
  • Carefully observe speed limits.
  • BE PATIENT! 

Parking

  • Parking at Washington University is under the control of the Department of Transportation, 314-935-5601. It is recommended that you park in the Forsyth/Danforth Parking Garage.  You may also park at metered ($1.00/hour) spots on campus, and Daily Parking Passes for yellow parking zones are available at a cost of $5.00 per day (available in Room 210, Law School Business Office).  For the locations of meters and yellow zones see the "campus parking map" link on the Department of Transportation's Visitors Web Page http://parking.wustl.edu/visitor.htm
