Profile

Visiting Assistant Professor Andrew C. Kim specializes in the criminal justice system, economic analysis of law, and empirical legal studies. He joined the law school after clerking for Justice Richard N. Palmer of the Supreme Court of Connecticut. Professor Kim has worked for the ACLU of Louisiana researching legal issues in civil rights cases as well as at the Chicago law firm of Reed Smith. Prior to entering law school, he served as a volunteer at the Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic conducting client intake interviews for criminal and family law cases. Professor Kim graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor of the Harvard Civil Rights—Civil Liberties Law Review.
