Director of Web Services Aris L. Woodham oversees the law school’s websites, serving on the technology planning team and providing training in electronic research methods and webpage authoring. As a member of the law school’s Information Resources Division, she is a reference librarian who provides legal research and reference assistance to faculty, students and other patrons of the Law Library. Woodham also is a Lecturer in Law, teaching advanced legal research to upper-level law students, and a member of the Texas Bar. In addition to her teaching, library, and administrative duties, she has written articles about developing electronic collections for law libraries as well as made presentations at conferences on: tax research on the Internet; technical aspects of electronic serials; and legal research resources on the Internet. Before joining the law school, she worked and taught at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School, Drake University Law School, and Creighton University School of Law. She also worked for Sleeper, Johnston, Helm and Fontaine, a Waco, Texas law firm, and as a Hearings Examiner for the Texas Employment Commission in Austin, Texas.
