Profile

Dr. Rifat Azam is an assistant professor at Radzyner School of Law at the IDC. His teaching and research interest includes Tax Law, International Taxation, Tax Policy, Cyberspace Law and E-commerce Taxation. He was a Michigan Grotius Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan Law School (2007) and a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School (2004). He was a scholar in residence and visiting at Columbia Law School (2015-2016) where he taught a seminar on the Role of the Israeli Supreme Court in Democracy. Prior to joining the IDC, Dr. Azam served as Legal Assistant to Chief Justice Barak at the Supreme Court of Israel.
