Meet the Deans

Dear Law School Community,

I am grateful to serve as dean of this remarkable institution, one of the very best in the country. As a visiting professor at WashULaw since 2010, I have been afforded a privileged view of its inner workings, and what makes us an exemplary place to teach, research, study, and work.

I look forward to building on the law school’s exciting upward trajectory. Our faculty are leading experts in their varied fields, which enriches the experience of our students who take their courses. Our students are selected from the top of a competitive applicant pool, traveling from all over the world to study with us. Our vibrant staff hold everything together, creating an environment where we can each fulfill our individual purpose.

Our alumni go on to become accomplished lawyers, judges, public defenders, and leaders of the legal field. We rely on their commitment to giving back to WashULaw through mentorship of our current students, donations, service on our boards and committees, and much more.

Together, these components create the foundation for our continued ascent.
