Configuring Outlook 2007
Before starting these instructions make sure Outlook 2007 is closed.
1. Open Control Panel (Switch to Classic View).

2. Double click the Mail icon.

3. Single click the " Email Accounts" button.

4. The E-mail tab should be the first selected. Single click "New..."

5. On this window do not fill out any information. Place a check in the in the lower left corner box "Manually configure server settings..." and single click Next.

6. Single click the middle button, "Microsoft Exchange" and single click Next.

7.In the field box, "Microsoft Exchange server" enter exch02.sol.wustl.edu. In the field box, "User Name", enter your Law School provided username. This is the same account name you use to login to webmail. After entering the necessary information you must single click "More Settings..." If window appears asking to verify username and server click cancel.

8.Single click the "Connection" tab. Place a check mark in box "Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP'. Single click the box "Exchange Proxy Settings..."

9. In the https:// field box type "webmail.law.wustl.edu". Place a check mark in "On fast networks...". Leave the check mark "On slow networks...". Under Proxy authentication settings, drop the menu down and single click "NTLM Authentication". Single click Ok.

10. Single click Apply and Ok window.

11. Click Next.

12. A login window will appear. Type username as "SOL\username" and your password. The SOL must be before the username. Place a check mark in the "Remember my password". Single click Ok.

13. Single click "Finish" on the final window. Open Outlook 2007 and it should be connecting to the Law School email server.
