Law Commencement - May 21, 2010

This site will serve as the source of the latest information on the Law School's Commencement celebrations to be held on Friday, May 21, 2010. Please bookmark this page and check back periodically for any updates.

Commencement Day festivities will begin with class photos at 7:40 a.m., followed closely by the law school processional for the all University ceremony. The University Commencement ceremony will be held in Brookings Quadrangle at 8:30 a.m. The Law School recognition ceremony will immediately follow and will be held at Seeley G. Mudd Field (southeast of Anheuser-Busch Hall) at approximately 11 a.m. A reception at the Law School will be held at the conclusion of the recognition ceremony. See below for the full schedule.

All August 2009, December 2009, May 2010, August 2010, and December 2010 law graduates are invited to participate in the University’s and Law School’s ceremonies. Tickets are not needed for family members to attend either ceremony. 

Please note: All students who plan to walk in the Commencement Ceremonies will need to complete an electronic Commencement RSVP form and to attend a mandatory training session. The RSVP form, which will be linked from this site, will help in planning purposes, including facilitating in students receiving their actual diploma during the recognition ceremony and allowing for the law school to make appropriate arrangements for guest seating and for the reception. Information on the brief training session will be posted on this site and announced in The Law Daily once available; multiple time options will be offered.

Dates/Times: February 23–26, 2010; 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Location: Danforth Campus Bookstore
Pre-pay for rental regalia; purchase nonpersonalized announcements, and diploma frames. Place orders for personalized announcements, rings, and plaques.
