Want to learn more about legal issues facing the LGBTQ community? Interested in creating positive social change? Looking to network with practitioners, law professors, and students from the greater Midwest? Then you should attend the Midwest LGBTQ Law Conference at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
The Midwest LGBTQ Law Conference is an annual gathering of current and past law students, faculty, practitioners, and community members from the greater Midwest at Washington University School of Law to discuss contemporary legal issues affecting the LGBTQ community. Our goals are to present a diverse array of speakers from inside and outside the traditional legal community and facilitate real discussion about the status of LGBTQ rights.
The 10th Annual Midwest LGBTQ Conference will take place on February 20 – 21, 2015. Our conference is always free and open to the public. This year, we are able to offer free CLE credit for Missouri and Illinois (if you are from another state, check with your state bar to see if you can transfer these credits).
Information about the 2015 conference will be posted on this website and our Facebook page when available. See below for a tentative schedule of events.
Have an idea for the 2015 conference? Want to participate as a speaker, panelist, moderator, or facilitator? This year, we want to create a space for students to share their work and scholarship with our community. Send us an email and let us know how you would like to contribute.
