Tyrrell WIlliams Lecture: Professor Stephen Legomsky

Stephen H. Legomsky is an expert in U.S., comparative, and international immigration and refugee law and policy. Currently on leave from the faculty, he has been serving as chief counsel for United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) since fall 2011. In his role at USCIS, he is serving as the principal legal advisor to the agency that will be charged with implementing the central components of proposed new comprehensive immigration legislation. “Please join us for the upcoming CLE program offered by the Negotiation & Dispute Resolution Program, in conjunction with US Arbitration & Mediation Midwest, Friday morning, March 22, in the Bryan Cave Courtroom (3.4 MCLE, including 1.2 Ethics). The agenda includes Plaintiff & Defense Mediation Caucuses, Mortgage Loan Foreclosure Negotiation & Mediation, and Ethical Consequences of Failing to Supervise Staff & Associates. This program is the 28th collaborative Negotiation & Dispute Resolution Program/USAM CLE program presented at Washington University Law School over the past eight years, for a minimal administrative fee of $40.
