2018 April 15 Exploring Campus

We know we love our campus, but we are thrilled so many others agree!  Washington University was recently named the BEST College Campus in America!  In addition to being #1 for our campus, Washington University earned an A+ in the Academics, Value and Campus categories and an A for Diversity by Niche.  WashULaw buildings are right in the heart of campus which allows law students access to academic speakers, cultural events, and the beautiful facilities for food, study, and entertainment.  We are looking forward to you exploring our campus yourself!

2018 March 23 Exploring St. Louis

We want to share with you a recent article that appeared in Vogue magazine about St. Louis.  (An Insiders Guide to St. Louis.) We hope that you will enjoy exploring the city and all of the different neighborhoods.  This article focuses on restaurants and shopping, but St. Louis is also home to a world-class symphony orchestrawonderful museums, sports teams, and beautiful parks.  If you want to get closer to nature, just 1/2 hour from campus are some beautiful nature preserves and hiking trails. All full-time students are provided with a Metro pass which will provide transportation to many of the places in this article and others in the region.  We look forward to you joining us in St. Louis soon!  (Explore St. Louis)

WashULaw News:

In 2017, WashULaw celebrated our 150th anniversary with a year of celebrations, symposia, and reflections on our history. [] The oldest law school in the western half of the United States, WashULaw is highly regarded in both the academic and professional communities. We are ranked 18 by US News for American law schools and our students come from all over the world – the entering class last fall joined us from 34 different countries. Classes recently started for the Spring semester and the buildings are busy. We are happy to have everyone back and hope you will be with us this fall!

Our Local Community:

WashULaw is located on the beautiful Danforth Campus of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Our campus is immediately adjacent to one of the largest public parks in the U.S. Forest Park offers many attractions including a world class zoo, museums, outdoor theater, ice skating, and golf. [] Getting to downtown St. Louis or to the airport is also simple as we have 2 Metrolink (public transit) stops on campus. Passes are provided to all full-time students free of charge. We have just finished the winter holidays and there were many opportunities to enjoy typical American holiday decorations, light displays, visits from Santa, and holiday parties.
