As we near the end of the Spring semester, registration for next year has arrived.  Take note of all the information included in this course directory, including detailed instructions for registering online.  Also, be sure to read the “Upper-level Registration Handout” found near the student mailboxes and on the web. 

STEP ONE - PRE-REGISTRATION FOR SEMINARS & CLINICS – FOR FALL 2005 and SPRING 2006;

Deadline - 12:00 noon, Mon, March 28
Please read the information on pre-registering for seminars and clinics found in this course directory.  If you are interested in taking a seminar or a clinic (in Fall 2005 or Spring 2006), you must submit ONLINE your seminar and/or clinic preferences by 12:00 noon on Mon, March 28.  One seminar is a graduation requirement for J.D. students.  Clinics are not a graduation requirement. (See instructions in the course directory on where to submit your preferences online - you do not submit them in WebSTAC, and waitlists for seminars and clinics are not kept in WebSTAC.) 

STEP TWO - ONLINE REGISTRATION in WebSTAC for Fall 2005 begins: 

-  Wed, April 13, 7:30a, for the Class of 2006 & LLMs
-  Fri, April 15, 7:30a, for the Class of 2007 

Register online for the remainder of your Fall 2005 courses (other than seminars or clinics) - via WebSTAC at https://acadinfo.wustl.edu 
[Online registration for Spring 2006 classes will take place in November 2005.]

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONAL MEETING AND REGISTRATION DATES & DEADLINES: 

Mon, March 21:                12:00p-1:00p -  Bryan Cave Moot Courtroom - General Informational Meeting on the Registration Process and the Clinical Education Program - Session offering information on the nuts and bolts of registration and an overview of the school’s Clinical Education Program. Presented by Janet Bolin, Associate Dean of Admissions and Student Services; Marcia Goldsmith, Assistant Director of Student Services; Karen Tokarz, Professor of Law and Director of Clinical Education; and Colleen Erker, Assistant Dean for Student Records & Registrar.

Tue, March 22:                 12:00-1:00 p.m. - Student Commons - Course Selection Advising Session (Faculty Panel)  -- Panel composed of professors who teach upper-level courses will discuss and answer questions about our upper-level curriculum and offer advice about course selection. Coordinated by Marcia Goldsmith, Assistant Director of Student Services.

Thurs, March 24:             12:00-2:00 p.m. - Student Commons – Clinical Education Program Fair – Faculty and students will be available to discuss one-on-one questions about clinics, skills courses and competitions. Coordinated by Prof. Karen Tokarz, Dir. of the Clinical Education Program, and Shelly Nelson, Clinical Program Coordinator.

Mon, March 28:                12:00 noon - Deadline for submitting preferences for seminars and clinics online.

Fri, April 8:                        Seminar and Clinic placement notices will be emailed by this date to the students who receive spots in Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 seminars and/or clinics (at a later date waitlisted students will receive emails indicating their waitlist placement info.)

Mon, April 11:                  4:30 pm, Room 202 - Orientation meeting for students enrolled in Fall 2005 Judicial Clerkship - with Adjunct Prof. Charles Bobinette

Wed, April 13:                   Online registration for Fall 2005 courses begins at 7:30 a.m. for the Class of 2006 & LLMs

Friday, April 15:              Online registration for Fall 2005 courses begins at 7:30 a.m. for the Class of 2007
