Following is a list of materials assigned for the noted course.

First Class Assignment

Our first class is Monday, January 9, at 11:08 a.m. Before that class, please (a) pick up the course handout; (b) read the Course Rules (in the handout) very carefully; and (c) read casebook pages v-ix, 1-14, and 25-34. (Optional: skim pp.14-25.)

For anyone wishing to get ahead, the assignment for the second class (Tuesday, Jan.10) is pages 34-50, 54-61 (except omit items 9 and 10 on page 56); and skim pages 88-102.

Coursebook Course Textbooks

There are 2 (two) required books: (1) The casebook - Legomsky, Immigration and Refugee Law and Policy (4th ed. 2005); and (2) the paperback statutory supplement- Aleinikoff, Martin & Motomura (eds.), Immigration and Nationality Laws of the United States (2005 edition).

Course InformationCourse Information

The course handout will be available in room 301 before the end of December. It contains the Course Rules and a day-by-day syllabus for the entire semester.
