Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least one semester of law school at an accredited law school. In addition, emphasis will be placed on applicants who have a past or current residency in Stark County, Ohio, and who intend to undertake the practice of law in Stark County, Ohio.
Criteria: Applicants will be judged on the following criteria: commitment to community involvement, high scholastic achievement, and good character and standing in the community.

Eligibility: Applicants must be a student at an accredited law school in the United States, its applicants must be seeking a threshold legal degree.
Criteria: Applicant’s interest in Native American legal issues. Describe in concise detail how you have demonstrated a consistent interest in and contribution to Native American legal issues that, as threshold, would make you worthy of receiving this award.

The ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship

Criteria: Before receiving scholarship funds, recipients will be required to demonstrate admission to and plans to enroll at an ABA-accredited law school.

Additional: The mission of the Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund is to encourage racial and ethnic minority students to apply to law school and to provide financial assistance to ensure that these students have the opportunity to attend law school for three years.
