Law School Admission Council
The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) administers the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and the Credential Assembly Service (CAS). Washington University School of Law requires that applicants register for both services. You can obtain additional information about the LSAT and CAS by contacting LSAC:

It is generally recommended that you take the LSAT no later than February, June, October or December of the year prior to which you wish to enroll in law school. However, at Washington University, you may take either the February or June LSAT in the same year you wish to begin law school and still be considered for admission in that year’s fall entering class. You may take the test more than once if you would like to try to improve your score.
- If you take the test more than once your application will be reviewed based on your highest score.
- Test scores are considered current for five years.
